Fair maiden on Flat (stays 10.5f) but a well-held last of 7 on his Hamilton handicap debut last month. Probably best watched now hurdling.

Modest AW winner on the Flat. Might have stamina limitations over hurdles judged on the way he weakened quickly from the home turn over C&D on his first attempt 19 days ago.

Fair maiden at up to 1¼m on the Flat for the Charlton stable. One to note in the betting now hurdling.

Offered little in a Uttoxeter juvenile hurdle on debut 12 weeks ago, making several bad mistakes in rear. Needs a big turnaround with cheekpieces added.

Fair on Flat (stays 12.5f) in France. 4/1, 2 lengths second on Fontwell hurdle debut 16 days ago, although he merely closed up late having been a remote second 2 out. The cheekpieces he wore on that occasion are now replaced by first-time blinkers.

Only a modest 1m winner on the Flat but is a half-brother to a fairly useful hurdle winner so possible he'll fare better now hurdling.

Poor maiden on Flat so doesn't strike as an obvious one to make a winning start over hurdles.

11/8
Fairly useful dual winner on the Flat for Yann Barberot in France. Only fifth when sent off 13/8 favourite for his Stratford hurdle debut in July but evidently thought capable of better by a stable which does well in these events. Could leave that bare form behind now tongue tied after a break.

Forecasts

Swiss Money (11/8), Makanao (5/2), I'm Too Tired (9/2), Lahire (15/2), Pete The Brief (18/1), Best Guess (28/1), Child Of Lir (33/1), Red Shield (66/1)

Verdict

Milton Harris is seeking a hat-trick of wins in this race and SWISS MONEY is selected to leave the form of his hurdle debut in July behind with a tongue tie added back from a 3-month break. Fontwell runner-up Makanao is the obvious danger unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding Jennie Candlish hurdle newcomer I'm Too Tired.
