16/1, won 9-runner novice at Wolverhampton (7f) on debut 23 days ago, well positioned. Open to progress but more will be needed.
Dubawi colt. Half-brother to several winners, including 11f-16.2f winner Enbihaar, 7f/1m winner Silent Attack and winner up to 1½m King Bolete, all smart. Wears hood. Makes obvious paper appeal.
Foaled March 13. 250,000 gns yearling, Siyouni colt. Dam French 2-y-o 6.5f/7f winner. One for shortlist on debut given connections.
€450,000 New Bay colt. Brother to yard's very smart winner up to 1m Saffron Beach, and half-brother to 6f winner Eshkaal. Dam 2-y-o 7f winner. Interesting to see what the betting makes of this one.
33/1, fourth of 7 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm, 33/1) on debut 17 days ago, considerately handled. Should improve.
10/1, sixth of 8 in maiden (10/1) at Leicester (7f, good) on debut 21 days ago. Can only watch after that.
85,000 gns Too Darn Hot colt. Half-brother to 10.7f winner Maar and 5f winner The Elle Train. One of 2 debutants from his top yard. The betting should reveal more.
16/1, eighth of 10 in maiden at Sandown (1m, soft) on debut 26 days ago. More one for the longer term on that evidence.
50,000 gns Churchill colt. Dam, maiden (stayed 7f), closely related to smart 5f/6f winner Lilbourne Lad. Watching brief advised unless the betting hints otherwise.
9/2, promise amidst greenness when third of 8 in maiden at Leicester (7f, good, 9/2) on debut 21 days ago. Should progress.
Twice-raced maiden. Sixth of 12 in novice at Kempton (7f, 33/1) 24 days ago. Probably more one for handicaps after this.
Lope De Vega filly. Sister to smart 6.5f-1m winner Duhail and half-sister to several winners, including winner up to 1m Locke and 1m-11f winner Belmont Avenue. Interesting newcomer.

Forecasts
Gracious Leader (5/2), Telemark (3/1), Lucentio (11/2), Granger Bay (6/1), Dubawi Time (10/1), Muttasil (11/1), Shy Hi Bye (12/1), King Of Charm (25/1), Honrado (33/1), Yaajooz (40/1), Show Me A Hero (50/1), Inappropriate (125/1)
Roger Varian won this with a debutant in the Sheikh Mohammed Obaid silks last year so GRACIOUS LEADER is the suggestion, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Shy Hi Bye, Dubawi Time and Granger Bay are other newcomers who make plenty of paper appeal in a race where the market is likely to be informative. Telemark may prove best of those with experience.
- Shy Hi Bye12/1
- Dubawi Time10/1
