Has been on the go for a long time but all 3 of his wins on these shores have come at 19.4f, the latest of those coming in June. Well below form all 3 starts since, though, and others are preferred.

Showed a bit sent chasing when fourth at Perth (20.1f, good to soft) on his final run for Caroline McCaldin but recent yard debut was particularly uninspiring, jumping sketchily and coming off bridle long way out. Tricky to fancy.
Fair maiden hurdler for Ewan Whillans but he made an impressive winning yard/chase debut in 8-runner handicap at Worcester (16.5f, soft) last month. Not beaten far when runner-up at Southwell (15.8f, good to soft) 12 days ago and he should have more to offer.
Off the mark over fences in a weak-looking event at Uttoxeter (24f, good) in Summer 2021 and showed little after an 18-month break on his sole outing last time. Been absent for another 9 months and probably has something to prove on his return.
No show over hurdles but fared better when runner-up over C&D on his chase bow last term. Badly let down by his jumping on his next outing here but he's still a potential improver over fences and isn't ruled out.
Only a poor maiden over hurdles but shaped rather encouragingly sent chasing at Stratford earlier this week, going well when put on the back foot by a couple of late errors. Should build on that promising display.
Yet to show any ability, first-time cheekpieces failed to eke any improvement outing when pulled up on chase debut earlier in the month.

Forecasts
Lusitanien (11/10), Ideallko (13/8), El Rojo Grande (8/1), Ballymagee (10/1), Abaya Du Mathan (11/1), Beannaigh Do (18/1), Enforcement (28/1), Tika Moon (100/1)
LUSITANIEN has made a most promising start having switched to fences since joining his new yard and a further 3 lb rise looks more than manageable in a contest which appears to lack depth. Ideallko shaped as if he'll be a better chaser than hurdler on Monday and is respected from the same mark, with Beannaigh Do another who is respected on the form of his chasing bow.
