Fair maiden hurdler for Gordon Elliott who has plenty to prove having run below form both starts for current yard.

Failed to justify support in a Warwick bumper on debut for Mel Rowley and jumped none too fluently prior to being pulled up on Stratford hurdle bow last October.

10/3
Fair stayer on the Flat who ran to a similar level sent hurdling after 8 months off when third in a 17.2f Cartmel novice in May. Matched that form when runner-up in a maiden there 12 weeks later and seems likely to be on the premises again.

Showed an aptitude for hurdling when making the frame in a couple of juvenile events for Richard Hughes last winter and has opened his account on the Flat subsequently. Posted a respectable effort on stable debut at Chester last month and looks interesting now returned to hurdling.

Showed fair form when reaching the frame in a pair of Southwell bumpers in June, but offered little on Flat debut at Carlisle the following month and ran out at the fourth on Market Rasen hurdle bow 3 days ago. Others preferred.

Dam closely related to useful hurdler (stayed 3m) Tower Bridge. Fair handicapper on Flat, stays 1¾m, respectable third last time. Interesting hurdling newcomer.

Forecasts

Jumping Susie (7/4), Wholeofthemoon (9/4), City Vaults (10/3), My Chiquita (4/1), Trick Of The Tail (8/1), Ballyquin Bay (18/1), Bushmill Boy (33/1), Bradford Lady (50/1), Blue Bear (50/1), Lexie's Moon (50/1), Riccirella (80/1), Le Fou's Keep (300/1)

Verdict

JUMPING SUSIE is proving a little expensive to follow but she showed a good attitude in defeat at Kelso 3 weeks ago and is worth one more chance to get off the mark. Wholeofthemoon makes appeal back over hurdles and is second choice, with City Vaults and hurdling-debutante My Chiquita others to note.
