15/2

Lightly-raced winner. Career best when making a winning handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f, 11/4) 33 days ago, just holding on. Unexposed sort who could easily have more to offer. Player.

9/4

Career best when winning 13-runner handicap over this C&D 17 days ago. Cheekpieces on first time. Has quite a solid AW record and a 2 lb nudge is unlikely to prevent him making a bold bid if stall 12 isn't too big an inconvenience.

Forecasts

Saturnalia (9/4), Okami (3/1), Distinguished Lady (9/2), Cloud Cover (15/2), Abravaggio (8/1), Capuchinero (12/1), Dicko The Legend (16/1), No Saint (22/1), Creative Style (22/1), Wake Up Harry (22/1), Ellexis (40/1), Bobby On The Beat (40/1), Kangaroo (100/1)

Perhaps best to focus on the 4 last-time-out winners at the top of the weights. CLOUD COVER has the potential for better still on the back of her Wolverhampton handicap debut success and gets a narrow verdict from a handy inside stall. The chief threat may come from Roger Varian's Okami who has fared better with the draw than Saturnalia and Distinguished Lady.
