British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes (GBB Race)

Mildly encouraging debut at Kempton last month but failed to back it up at Southwell and is probably more of a handicap type.

Stepped forward from debut when fifth in a maiden here 13 days ago and could make an even bigger impression if she improves for the step up in trip.

Frankel filly. Closely related to 1¼m winner Circuit Breaker. Shaped well after a very slow start when fifth at Goodwood first time out. Should have learned plenty from that initial experience and she's worth a chance to open her account at the second attempt.

Signs of ability in a couple of maidens but has something to find and stamina is an unknown up in trip.

Half-sister to several winners, including smart 1m-1¼m winner Dark Orchid and useful 7f-1m winner Orchid Star, and made a highly promising start when third at Goodwood 3 weeks ago. Open to improvement and should take a hand.

Foaled January 31. 65,000 gns foal, 120,000 gns yearling, Awtaad filly. Closely related to 2-y-o 8.3f winner Laafiraaq and useful 11.4f/12.4f winner Cross My Mind and half-sister to smart winner up to 1¼m One Voice. One to consider.

Foaled April 16. 425,000 gns yearling, Frankel filly. Half-sister to 11f winner Muzaffar. Dam unraced, half-sister to high-class 1m winner Admire Mars out of smart 1m winner Via Medici. Notable newcomer well worth considering.
