Hurricane Ali⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Mackie| OR: 125| BF| CD

6/1

Genuine individual. Placed 3 times this season but latest Southwell fifth wasn't one of his better efforts.

Form: 032935

Rathmacknee¹³⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: G Sheehan| T: Mrs D O'Neill| OR: 123

40/1

Bit of a mixed record for Nicky Henderson last season, winning twice but also pulled up on 3 occasions. A watching brief is the percentage call on this first outing for a new stable.

Form: 01PPP5-

Boom Boom Boom^p³⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-10| J: Philip Byrnes⁽³⁾| T: C Byrnes| OR: 114

7/1

Dual Flat winner who has yet to taste success over hurdles but this shrewd Irish stable's British runners always need monitoring very closely in the betting.

Form: 3U/05U0

Simply Red^p,t²³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-9| J: Charlie Maggs⁽¹⁰⁾| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 113

10/3

Enhanced excellent Bangor record with 2 more wins there last month, the latter under today's pilot Charlie Maggs. Runner-up on her sole visit here. Likely to give another good account.

Form: 225-611

Enthused^p¹⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Lily Pinchin⁽³⁾| T: James Owen| OR: 112| CD

10/3

Consistent performer who got back to winning ways in a 10-runner C&D handicap 14 days ago. A 5 lb rise looks fair given he and the second pulled nicely clear of the rest. Another bold show likely.

Form: 132221

Call Me Rocky^t¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Harry Cobden| T: M F Harris| OR: 112| D

5/1

Failed to win over hurdles in Ireland but won his first 2 outings (maiden/handicap) for this yard in July. Bounced back quickly from a lesser run when fourth of 12 at Cartmel 18 days ago. Respected.

Form: 5-31104

Forecasts

Enthused (10/3), Simply Red (10/3), Glorious Zoff (4/1), Call Me Rocky (5/1), Hurricane Ali (6/1), Boom Boom Boom (7/1), Prince Escalus (10/1), Rathmacknee (40/1)

ENTHUSED still looks fairly treated after a 5 lb rise for his C&D win a fortnight ago and is narrowly preferred to the hat-trick seeking Simply Red. Call Me Rocky has done well since joining Milton Harris and is another likely to be in the shake-up.
