9/4

Promising individual. Career best when winning 6-runner handicap (12/1) at Leicester (10f, good to firm) 6 days ago, smoothly getting into contention despite the pace not being strong. Likely there's more to come and respected under a penalty.

Asgard's Captain¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: B A Curtis| T: Thomas Dowling| OR: 49| BF

11/8

Showed improved form when landing share of the spoils at Ripon (1m) in June and ran another solid race despite a poor draw when finishing third of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) 2 weeks ago, keeping on. Step back up in trip a plus here and well in the mix.

11/2

Ninth of 12 in claimer at Leopardstown (7.2f, good, 80/1) 12 days ago. Back up in trip. Paul Mulrennan an eye-catching booking for handicap debut but would need to see market support to make him of interest.

Form: 495749

Future Times^v¹⁶

Forecasts

Asgard's Captain (11/8), Metric (9/4), Irresistible You (11/2), Hidden Code (9/1), Future Times (11/1), Na Scoitear (16/1), Magnolia Hawks (50/1)

METRIC impressed with how smoothly she moved into contention off a steady gallop when opening her account over further at Leicester 6 days ago and, with the likelihood of more to come, she could be up to defying a penalty, with Asgard's Captain rating the chief threat. Hidden Code may do best of the others.
