Pair of wins this spring, the latter over C&D on heavy. Even better form when placed twice over C&D in June and he can have a line put through his latest run at Ayr as he simply did too much too soon.

Sprung a 25/1 surprise at Chester (6f, good) in June but below form since, well held in the mud at Haydock on Sunday.

Three-3-time C&D winner, the latest on soft in April. Also successful at Thirsk in May but not at best in recent starts. This the sort of race he could bounce back in, though.

Won this race in 2021 and added two more C&D wins last year (including on heavy). Back on a good mark and had the 7f trip as a possible excuse for a lesser effort at York last time. Well handicapped back at his favoured venue.
