Useful handicapper who won here last season. Fine fourth of 19 in the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle (2m) at the beginning of July and not disgraced in another warm race at Newbury since. Acts on soft. Tongue tied first time. Much respected in this lower grade.
Habitual slow starter but he is proving consistent, picking up second win of the campaign when getting on top late in the day at Ayr (13f) last month. Creditable 4¼ lengths fifth of 13 to Sweet William in 2m Newbury handicap since. Should figure if he doesn't lose too much ground at start.
Largely consistent, but his effort flattened out in the closing stages when stepped up to 2m at York last weekend and this looks sure to provide a stiffer test at the trip.
French maiden winner who opened his account in this country when taking Doncaster handicap (16.5f, heavy) in April. Might have just needed the outing after 11 weeks off (had wind op) when eighth of 10 at Sandown 11 days ago and respected with ground conditions in his favour.
Belatedly got off the mark in impressive fashion when scoring by 7½ lengths at Catterick (1¾m, heavy) in April. Hasn't reproduced that on a sounder surface since but could fare better now returning to the mud.
In good form hurdling this summer, winning twice over 2¾m. First Flat start for over 3 years but this mark may not be beyond him judged on the level of his hurdle form. Has won on heavy in that sphere.
Winner of all 3 starts of a truncated 2022 campaign and proved that her ability remains intact following 13 months off when fifth in 2m Kempton handicap in June. Should be sharper now but her ability to handle deep ground has to be taken on trust.
Winner at Doncaster (soft) in April. Bounced straight back from a lesser effort on AW when third at Hamilton (13f, soft) 22 days ago. Steps up 3f in trip now.
Progressive 3-y-o who scored nicely when stepped up to 2m for the first time at Newbury (good to soft) 10 days ago. Definitely more to come as his stamina is drawn out and can defy the handicapper again.
Has improved when runner-up in 1¾m handicaps at Yarmouth and Sandown (both good ground) in recent months. Unproven in the mud but she does leave the impression that 2m will suit.
Finally got off the mark in 7-runner handicap at Ayr (13f, firm, 7/2) in June but not in the same form on Newcastle's AW since and he's 2 lb out of the weights in this.

Cinnodin (10/3), Nathanael Greene (9/2), Miss Cynthia (9/2), Blow Your Horn (13/2), Pyramid Place (15/2), Geremia (8/1), Nobody Told Me (9/1), Mister Camacho (12/1), Kalamity Kitty (12/1), Justus (14/1), Zimmerman (16/1), Billy Bathgate (80/1)
CINNODIN is a 3-y-o heading firmly in the right direction and can make it 5-7 since switching to handicaps. This represents a drop in class for former course winner Nathanael Greene who is second choice ahead of Justus, who gets similar ground as when scoring by a wide margin at Doncaster in the spring.
