Hard Nut⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 9-11| J: D Nolan| T: Miss L A Perratt| OR: 57

7/2

Offered next to nothing in handful of starts upon joining this yard last term and, having displayed some encouragement on first 2 starts back this term, was below form at Musselburgh (5f) 6 days ago. Others make greater appeal.

Form: 070-548

Mokaman²⁷²

Age: 5| Weight: 9-3| J: Oliver Stammers| T: Grant Tuer| OR: 49| D

12/1

Cashed in on much-reduced mark at Musselburgh (5f) last spring. Exploits proved mixed thereafter on AW/turf and this run may well be needed following a 9-month absence.

Form: 425988-

(7)

Bonito Cavalo^p,t²⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: P Mulrennan| T: J S Goldie| OR: 48| BF

2/1

Remains a maiden after 16 Flat runs. Tongue strap on for 1st time, again ran with credit when third of 10 in minor event at Musselburgh (5f, good, 7/4) 26 days ago. Fancied to be thereabouts again.

Form: 323303

(4)

Genevieve^v⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: William Pyle⁽⁷⁾| T: J S Goldie| OR: 45

11/4

66/1, creditable fifth of 13 in handicap at this course (6f, good) 7 days ago, headway over 1f out and no extra late on. Drop back to the minimum trip worth exploring if she can build on that run here.

Form: 658675

(6)

Burtonlodge Beauty^p¹⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: Mark Winn⁽³⁾| T: Miss L A Perratt| OR: 45| D

20/1

One win from 28 Flat runs. 50/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Hamilton (5f, good to soft) 16 days ago, hampered start and racing off the pace. Still, she needs to show more before becoming of interest again.

Form: 688670

(3)

Ski Angel⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 8-10| J: J Fanning| T: R M Smith| OR: 45

9/2

Lightly-raced maiden. 40/1, first run since leaving John Quinn when third of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good) 7 days ago, nearest finish.

Form: 0863

Non-Runners

(2)

Sixcor⁶

Weight: 9-9| Age: 5

T: Miss L A Perratt J: Andrew Breslin

Forecasts

Sixcor (15/8), Bonito Cavalo (2/1), Genevieve (11/4), Hard Nut (7/2), Ski Angel (9/2), Mokaman (12/1), Burtonlodge Beauty (20/1)

SIXCOR signalled his return is imminent when finishing a close-up third in a stronger contest at Musselburgh 6 days ago and a repeat should see Linda Perratt's charge firmly in the mix once more. Bonito Cavalo remains a maiden but is largely holding his form well and he's a danger, along with Ski Angel.
