Took his record since reverting to fences to 2 wins (plus a second) from 4 starts when making a winning return at Perth (20.1f, good) a fortnight ago, staying on to lead run-in. Up 3 lb for that success and every chance he will be bang there again with cheekpieces back on.

Inconsistent sort who is winless since 2019. Failed miserably to back up his Chepstow run on both subsequent outings but tackles weakest race yet and could have a say in proceedings with a first-time visor applied and tongue tie back on.

Back from 11 months off when pulled up at Sedgefield in April and similar story at Uttoxeter last month, backing out of things as if there may have been physical issues. Mark continues to tumble but best watched.

Failed to trouble the judge in 5 outings last season and a recent wind operation needs to have had a positive effect.

Forecasts

Friary Rock (11/10), Reserve Tank (11/4), Da Vinci Hand (9/2), The White Volcano (15/2), Cilluirid (16/1)

Verdict

This looks to revolve around FRIARY ROCK, who made a successful return from 8 months off at Perth a fortnight ago and can make light of a 3 lb higher mark. Reserve Tank isn't the most consistent, but he tackles his weakest race yet so he may emerge as the main threat, ahead of Da Vinci Hand.
