Much improved when taking 6-runner minor event at Newcastle (10.2f) early last month. Testing conditions were perhaps against him when well held on subsequent turf debut at Redcar and he's probably worth another chance.

Built on debut promise when going close over 7f at Carlisle last July but she failed to make much of an impact in 3 subsequent starts last season.

Fairly encouraging efforts in a handful of appearances at up to 7.4f at 2 yrs. Gelded since latest start and one to note in the betting now upped in trip for this handicap debut.

Left initial efforts well behind when second upped to 9f in a Redcar novice (soft) on final start of 2-y-o campaign. Suffered a heavy defeat on return/handicap bow at Chester (12.3f, heavy) but he's not written off just yet.

Remains with one standout effort and while her low-key reappearance display at Nottingham can probably be attributed to the testing conditions, she now finds herself with a bit to prove.

Promise in a trio of 1m maidens on the AW earlier this year but improvement has not been forthcoming switched to handicap company the last twice.

Gelded following low-key 2-y-o campaign and duly left those efforts well behind on return/handicap debut in a first-time hood at Yarmouth (10.1f, soft) last month. 4 lb rise by no means harsh and should go close, provided he handles the different conditions.

Improved once switched to nurseries last term and reappeared with a good second of 8 in a 1m Redcar handicap. Below par both starts since but could have a say in the finish here if able to get back on track now upped in trip.

Positives to glean from second of her 2 starts on the AW during the winter but the same cannot be said for her reappearance sixth in a Nottingham novice (10.2f, heavy). Handicap debut.

Conditions here will be very different to those under which DOG FOX made a winning reappearance at Yarmouth, but it's likely that the improvement he showed that day was owing to the switch to handicap company, step up in trip and the addition of a hood, not the ground. If that proves to be the case, Ed Dunlop's charge should have little trouble following up here off a 4 lb higher mark. Edmund Ironside and Wadacre Gomez may well emerge as the main dangers.
