Rattled off a quick-fire 4-timer over hurdles last spring/summer and added to his tally at Newton Abbot (16.7f, good to soft) in September. However, well held last 2 starts and will probably need the run on the back of a 7-month absence.

Several creditable efforts in handicaps at up to 21.6f during the winter but has yet to get his head in front and was well below that level on return from 3-month absence at Southwell.

Best part of 3 years have passed since latest success over hurdles but won 3 times on the Flat in 2022 and latest fifth of 13 at Cheltenham (16.8f, good) came in a higher-grade handicap than this. Eased 3 lb since and moving back up in trip looks a good move.

Showed fair form when runner-up on second outing in bumpers and promise on each of her three starts over hurdles. Jumping needs to improve but she's a notable handicap debutant.

Fair form at best in maiden/novice hurdles and no real progress switched to handicaps the last twice, albeit the drop in trip was against him at Southwell (15.8f, soft) latest. Likely to find one or two too good.

Fairly useful Flat winner who boasts some decent bits and pieces of form in this sphere, including when fourth in a 9-runner Fakenham handicap (2½m, good) a fortnight ago. Each-way chance off the same mark here.

Fair maiden who returned to form when fifth in big-field Taunton handicap (19f, good to soft) in November, coming from a long way back having nearly come down early on. However, ran no sort of a race next time at Hereford (in January) and absent since.

Recorded back-to-back handicap wins at Market Rasen in June last year. Not at his best first 2 starts since returning from a break in April but recent second at Ludlow (21.2f, good) was a step back in the right direction and a bold show is anticipated.

Long-standing maiden who looks set for another struggle from 9 lb out of the handicap.

A chance is taken on RED FORCE ONE, who acquitted himself well enough in a stronger handicap than this at Cheltenham last month to suggest that he could take advantage of this career-low hurdles mark in a race of this nature. Dellboy Trotter returned to form when hitting the crossbar at Ludlow recently and is a big threat with Harry Cobden up, while Enthused and handicap debutante Pass The Love On are both worth a second look.
