One of the chasing success stories of last season and, having had a breathing operation, produced a career best in a first time tongue strap when third in valuable 25f Aintree handicap on Grand National Day. This C&D winner looks the one to beat again.
Back to winning ways in 3m1f Warwick handicap in September but off the track since being pulled up at Cheltenham following month. Needs to hit the ground running on comeback.
Scored at Exeter and Cheltenham on his first 2 starts over fences. Not disgraced in first-time tongue tie when fifth of 11 in handicap at Cheltenham (26f) 30 days ago. Merits consideration off an easing mark.
Course winner but let down by his jumping when pulled up in Scottish Grand National at Ayr 27 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Winless last season and cheekpieces on for first time when below-par sixth of 11 in handicap chase at Cheltenham (26f, good) 30 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Has proved unreliable but he arrives on a hat-trick after wins at Catterick and Taunton (23f) this spring. Not taken lightly despite a 9 lb hike in the weights.
C&D winner but he's been off for 12 months since solid fourth over C&D. He has won off a break though so can't be discounted.
Dual handicap chase winner last season. Too free and dropped away at Market Rasen when last seen on Boxing Day. Not on a bad mark if ready to go.
Likeable type who has taken well to chasing, winning for a fourth time at Kelso (3m) in April. Posted a respectable third in handicap chase at Perth (23.8f) 21 days ago so he's one for the shortlist.
Completed a hat-trick at Haydock in early 2022 but winless since and largely below par last term. Others are preferred.
Resumd winning ways in a first-time tongue strap at Southwell (3m) in November. Conditions in his favour back from a break but he's 8 lb higher here.

Forecasts
Kinondo Kwetu (5/2), Lounge Lizard (3/1), Go On Chez (15/2), Hidden Heroics (9/1), Tim Pat (9/1), Java Point (10/1), Saint Arvans (12/1), Empire De Maulde (14/1), Ruthless Article (20/1), Topofthecotswolds (28/1), Organdi (28/1)
KINONDO KWETU enjoyed a marvellous last season when scoring five times and this C&D winner is weighted to go close once more as he is able to race off the same mark as when an excellent third at Aintree last time. Dan Skelton's Hidden Heroics is also weighted to have a say and is next on the list ahead of the returning Empire de Maulde and likeable Saint Arvans.
