Won back-to-back over shorter trip at Yarmouth and Haydock last September before ending campaign with good third at Nottingham (10.2f) in October. Worth a try at this longer trip and should be straighter for last month's Pontefract return. Cheekpieces on first time.

Promising on the all-weather in 2021, scoring twice over this sort of trip. Lightly raced and unable to add to that success since but given a considerate return at Kempton recently and has been given a chance by the handicapper.

Much improved when scoring over this trip at Lingfield in September and ended campaign with creditable third at Wolverhampton. Posted solid return/turf debut at Leicester last month and remains fairly treated.

Prolific from a low base in handicaps last year, winning 7 times (at up to 12.1f) and best not judged too harshly on his latest run at Wolverhampton (9.5f), having had hopeless task from position. Mark is easing.

Progressive last season, winning 5 times (at up to 12.5f), and built on solid reappearance when taking 6-runner handicap (13/8) at Newcastle (12.4f) 16 days ago. 5 lb higher now but not taken lightly.

Lightly-raced maiden. Back from 10 months off when good second of 5 in minor event (4/1) at Beverley (9.9f, good to soft) 21 days ago, clear of rest. May have more to offer now upped in trip on handicap debut.

Opened account at Southwell (12.1f) in March and far from disgraced in a couple of Doncaster handicaps since, latest when fourth of 7 (16.5f, heavy) 20 days ago. Others look better treated, though. Cheekpieces on first time.
