Twelfth of 14 in handicap at Kempton (8f, 12/1) when last seen in November, slowly away. Perhaps worth a crack at this trip (won over 7f on penultimate start) and not discounted, for all that his current mark demands improvement.

C&D winner. Creditable fifth of 9 in handicap (12/1) at Brighton (7f, good) 24 days ago. That run will have blown away the cobwebs and he's of interest off 2 lb lower with cheekpieces refitted.
Seventeen runs since last win in 2021. 50/1, first run since leaving George Boughey when creditable third of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW) 12 days ago. Each-way chance returned to turf if able to build on that effort.
Twelve runs since last win in 2021. 4/1, good second of 6 in handicap at Brighton (6f, good) 13 days ago. Big player for in-form yard off the same mark.
Fourth of 7 in handicap at Windsor (5.1f, heavy, 5/2) 8 days ago, slowly away. Entitled to come on for that and could have a part to play if the ground dries out (best form to date on good to firm).
28/1, creditable fourth of 8 in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f) 33 days ago. Mark unchanged and usually gives his running, so no surprise if this 6-y-o is on the premises.
C&D winner. 25/1, below form seventh of 12 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, good to soft) 12 days ago. Others more persuasive from a win perspective.
40/1, last of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f). Off 10 months and it's probably best to look elsewhere.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, ninth of 14 in handicap (7/1) at Killarney (8.3f, soft). Off 7 months and back down in trip. Needs to bounce back but it's worth remembering that he wasn't beaten far off an 18 lb higher mark in a big-field handicap at the Curragh last spring.
100/1, first run since leaving Michael Bell when last of 7 in minor event at Lingfield (10f, AW) 69 days ago, going off too hard. Significantly down in trip and he's readily passed over.
Career best when winning 8-runner handicap (28/1) at Kempton (6f) 13 days ago. 3 lb rise fair but needs to prove that he can perform to a similar level now returned to turf (well held both starts here in 2022).

Forecasts
Carlton Banks (2/1), Macs Dilemma (5/1), Pinwheel (5/1), Vape (13/2), Youarenotforgiven (8/1), Rich Rhythm (9/1), Flagman (10/1), Gilt Edge (22/1), Cashew (28/1), Desert (150/1), John O'Groats (200/1)
Though nearer last than first on the majority of his appearances last term, Irish-raider CARLTON BANKS is nevertheless interesting here off a much-reduced mark. The 6-y-o wasn't beaten at all far when sixth in a 22-runner handicap at the Curragh off 18 lb higher last spring (on the back of a similar absence from which he is returning to action here), and his yard is 5-11 with horses aged 4+ on turf in Britain in recent seasons. Pinwheel and Macs Dilemma rate the main dangers.
