75,000 gns yearling, Caravaggio colt. Closely related to 6f winner Ibn Arabi and half-brother to 9f-10.5f winner Shikami. Dam, maiden (stayed 12.5f), sister to useful 1¼m winner High Grounds. Yard's newcomers often better for the run.
Frankel colt. Dam unraced half-sister to smart 6f-7f winner Right Touch. Made the odds-on favourite pull out all the stops when neck second in novice at Southwell on debut 2 weeks ago, clear of rest. Likely to progress and the one to beat.
Exceed And Excel colt. Dam, maiden (stayed 1½m), half-sister to 6f/7f winner Mizwaaj and 6f-1m winner Mishaal, both useful. Trainer’s newcomers command respect.
150,000 gns Zoustar colt. Dam maiden (stayed 1¼m), half-sister to useful 6f-7f winner Seychelloise out of useful 2-y-o 5f/5.5f winner Starlit Sands. Better than bare result when third of 9 in maiden (9/4) at Doncaster (6f, heavy) on debut in November, left poorly placed. Will improve.
Half-brother to several winners and made a positive start when second in a Newmarket novice (July Course). Failed to build on that at Newbury but worth another chance back from 7 months off.
80,000 gns yearling, Lope De Vega gelding. Half-brother to 7f winner Tough Spirit and useful 9.4f winner One For Bobby. Dam, 7f/1m winner, sister to useful 7f winner Some Spirit. Yard not renowned for winning with newcomers.
Well held in novices here and Wolverhampton 5 months apart.

Forecasts
Covey (5/6), Molaqab (3/1), Palamon (15/2), Art Of Romance (17/2), Daarree (9/1), Where's Freddy (40/1), Yellow Lion (100/1)
COVEY shaped like a decent prospect when going close at Southwell on his debut 2 weeks ago and can go one place better in what looks an ordinary maiden for the track. Palamon is worth another chance to confirm debut promise and rates the main threat ahead of Molaqab, who shaped better than the bare result at Doncaster first-time out in November.
