Consistent over hurdles last season and posted best effort in this sphere when narrow second of 7 in handicap at Wetherby (24.2f, soft, 9/2) 17 days ago. 3 lb rise fair and is a big player.
Maiden hurdle winner in Ireland but yet to make a serious impact over fences, fourth in 9-runner Catterick handicap (19.2f) on yard debut in February. Looked unsuited by the drop in trip then and this rates more suitable from reduced mark.
Yet to score over fences and hasn't really threatened in a trio of starts this term.
Won twice earlier this term, latest here (23.4f) in October. Back from 3 months off when sixth at Doncaster (24f, good to soft) 31 days ago and should be straighter now.
Immediate improvement switched to fences last term, winning his first 3 starts. Good start to this season when third off 5 lb higher over C&D but rather gone backwards since and has plenty to prove at present.
Steadily progressive over hurdles last term and placed on all 5 completed starts in this sphere, latest when fourth of 9 in handicap chase at Carlisle (20f, soft) 22 days ago. Likely to be in the mix again.
Won over fences at Hexham in June but has lost her way since, including back over hurdles the last twice. Hard to recommend back over the larger obstacles.
Ended lengthy losing run when just prevailing in 7-runner handicap chase at Hexham (20.1f, heavy) 18 days ago. This looks more competitive but he's only been raised 2 lb for that success.
Fairly useful chaser in France but yet to fire on these shores. Latest run can be forgiven (saddle slipped) but plenty to prove nonetheless.
Fair 20f winner over hurdles who hinted at promise on his chasing debut when third in Ayr handicap (20.5f) in February. May have failed to stay 3m at Hexham since but percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Fair maiden hurdler who matched that form for the first time over fences when landing 6-runner handicap at Musselburgh (20.3f, good to soft) last month. 4 lb rise fair but this looks tougher.
Modest hurdler who has shown an aptitude for chasing in a couple of recent outings, latest when good fifth of 13 in handicap at Carlisle (20.9f, good) 9 days ago. May be capable of better yet.
Both career victories have come at this course, latest when bagging 4-runner handicap chase (23.4f) in January. However, may be inconvenienced by shorter trip here and was reportedly lame at Newcastle latest. 3 lb out of the weights.
Limited impact as a hurdler and offered little on switch to chasing at Musselburgh in February of last year. Best watched on first start since from 3 lb out of the handicap.

WHERE'S HECTOR was just chinned at Wetherby last time and it's possible he has more to offer in this sphere. He gets the nod. Azof des Mottes and Fever Roque head the list of dangers.
