Finally opened his account for present connections when cosy winner of 2m Chepstow handicap last month. Remains on a good mark despite a 4 lb rise so another bold showing is on the cards.

Won 2 bumpers for Brian Eckley and changed hands for £160,000 after. Has also made a promising start hurdling and landed 16-runner novice hurdle (6/4) at Chepstow (16f, soft) 71 days ago. Much respected now going handicapping.

Forecasts

JPR One (9/4), Libberty Hunter (9/4), Zambezi Fix (4/1), In The Air (9/2), Mamoon Star (5/1), Mr Grey Sky (11/1)

Verdict

A case can be made for all of these but the most persuasive one is for ZAMBEZI FIX who scored with a bit up his sleeve at Chepstow last time and still looks handily weighted despite taking a 4 lb rise in the weights. Both Libberty Hunter and Mamoon Star could have more to offer now going into handicaps and appeal as the duo to chase home Bernard Llewellyn's 8-y-o in that order.
