Hurdles winner but all over a chaser on looks and perfect start to land 4-runner novices' handicap on return at Aintree (2½m) in November. Advanced his form when runner-up to a dual subsequent winner at Ayr (20.5f) later that month and sound claims back from 4 months off.

Has registered victories over fences on each of last 4 seasons. His second at Chepstow (19.5f) over Christmas suggests he could repeat the feat this term but he pulled up at Sandown since. First-time visor replaces cheekpieces.

Three-time chase winner last season. Back to form when second at Kempton in January but in nothing like the same form back there 6 weeks later, pulling up for third time in his last 4 starts. Comes with risks at present.

Successful pointer who showed useful form in novice hurdles in 2020/21 season. Looked a shadow of that horse when well beaten in 2 comeback runs over fences at Chepstow in December but top yard perseveres. Worth a precautionary betting check.

Second start over fences when landing a Ffos Las handicap in January 2022. Back to that level when runner-up last twice, going with plenty of enthusiasm in cheekpieces (retained) at Exeter last time. Player.

Dual hurdles winner who also scored on his chase debut at Exeter (19f) last season. Has failed to add to that since but his latest third at Huntingdon was a step back in the right direction. Nicely handicapped if he can build on that.

French import who bettered his hurdles form when making a successful debut over fences at Hereford (21f) in spring 2021. Failed to complete next 2 starts, latterly at Worcester in July of that year. Lengthy absence to overcome now. Betting perhaps the best guide.
