Useful/progressive form over hurdles last season, winning 3 times. Has physical scope but was a shade disappointing on both outings over fences in the autumn. Returns to hurdling now after a break with a tongue strap fitted. Also had breathing op since last seen.
Useful novice hurdler last season and made an encouraging handicap debut/reappearance when short-head second of 11 at Aintree. Disappointing in the Greatwood at Cheltenham and fared no better back up in trip after 10 weeks off at Uttoxeter. Has been given a breathing op since.
Won his first 4 completed starts over hurdles and creditable efforts in defeat in competitive handicaps before Christmas, including in the Greatwood. Laboured effort in the mud in the Lanzarote when last seen in January but could get back on track away from the mud.
Fairly useful hurdler who made the most of a good opportunity when resuming winning ways in 5-runner novice at Wincanton (21.4f) 17 days ago, always holding on. Respected on just his second start in a handicap.
Useful hurdler who ended time with Joseph O'Brien in good heart, successful in 19.3f beginners chase at Downpatrick in August. Hasn't made much of an impact for present connections, though, including back in this sphere.
Fair Flat winner in France who capitalised on the drop in grade in ready fashion at Fontwell on Boxing Day. Ran a stormer when fourth in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury subsequently, finishing with running left from a poor position, and there's better still to come, especially now moving up in trip.
Won 2 juvenile hurdles last season (also fifth in Fred Winter) and has been shaping well in defeat this term, doing best of those held up when fourth in a competitive handicap at Ascot (19.3f) on most recent outing. Player.
Showed fairly useful form over hurdles at the beginning of 2022 and returned to win a brace of novice events in the autumn. Failed to give his running in the Lanzarote on handicap debut but wasted no time getting back on track when fourth in Haydock Grade 2. Interesting back down in trip.
Seemingly hard to train but ran well after 8 months off to hit the frame over C&D (soft) on Boxing Day. Shaped as if amiss when pulled up in similar event at Huntingdon since.
An improved performer in a tongue strap this term, resuming winning ways at Huntingdon (20.6f) in January before an excellent third in a better quality event from 4 lb out of the weights there last time. Should go well again.

YORKSEA ran a cracker to finish fourth in the Betfair Hurdle last month, especially considering he had such a hopeless position tactically, so he's very much one to be interested in over this longer trip. Too Friendly has been shaping well in defeat this season and looks sure to be adding to his 2 juvenile wins soon enough. Outlaw Peter is having just his second run in a handicap and completes the shortlist in a competitive event.
