Fearless Action¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: C Grant| OR: 96

10/3

Runner-up twice over hurdles last winter. Building up his fitness after an absence and made a respectable chase debut when second of 5 in handicap at this C&D (good to soft, 7/2) 19 days ago.

Form: 226-472

Moonlight Glory¹⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: B S Hughes| T: M Walford| OR: 96| D

2/1

Twice a winner over hurdles in Ireland and gained a deserved first success for this yard at Newcastle 17 days ago, forging clear. 1 lb lower back over fences so must be considered.

Form: 904721

Moore Clouds³⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: Danny McMenamin| T: A Wilson| OR: 91

11/4

Has taken well to fences, again runner-up under a positive ride at Musselburgh. Took a heavy fall at Catterick next time but big shout if none the worse.

Form: 3-4622F

Going Mobile^t¹⁵²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR: 88

14/1

Won at Hexham in September and quickly back to form when third at Carlisle following month. Off since, however, and doesn't want the ground too soft.

Form: 173133

Templier^p,t⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 11-0| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Mrs S J Humphrey| OR: 82

14/1

Respectable second at Fakenham (16.3f, good) last month but well held at Southwell next 2 starts. Inconsistent so probably best to look elsewhere.

Form: 8-4P2P0

Budarri^p,t²³

Age: 10| Weight: 11-0| J: Sam Coltherd| T: W Coltherd| OR: 82

9/1

Winner at Musselburgh in November and added to his tally back there last month, though not sure to be in same form here given his profile.

Form: 413681

Bandit D'Ainay^p,t⁶⁴

Age: 12| Weight: 10-9| J: C O'Farrell| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 77| D

33/1

Four-time winner over fences in France but firmly on the decline now.

Form: P2-PU48

Roxyfet⁶⁴

Age: 13| Weight: 10-7| J: Emma Smith-Chaston⁽³⁾| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 75| CD

18/1

Veteran campaigner who capitalised on much-reduced mark at Hexham last season. Subsequent efforts have been poor, though.

Form: 441-586

Forecasts

Moonlight Glory (2/1), Moore Clouds (11/4), Fearless Action (10/3), Budarri (9/1), Templier (14/1), Going Mobile (14/1), Roxyfet (18/1), Bandit D'Ainay (33/1)

MOORE CLOUDS took a heavy fall at Catterick 6 weeks ago but her previous second at Musselburgh is solid form so she is worth another chance off the same mark. Moonlight Glory looked better than ever when scoring over hurdles at Newcastle and rates a big threat off her lower chase mark, while Fearless Action made a decent start to his chase career when second over C&D and is entitled to come on for that.
