Off time: 13:50 | Winning time: 4m 1.30s

Erigmoor⁴⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: Finn Lambert| T: S Edmunds| OR: 102

4/1

Promise in a trio of starts in novice/maiden hurdles, most recently when fifth of 14 at Huntingdon (15.8f, good to soft, 9/2) 44 days ago. Should prove suited by the return to left-handed track and looks capable of better now handicapping.

Form: 3-355

Hunter Legend⁴⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-13| J: Miss Lucy Turner| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 101

12/1

Half-brother to the yard's very smart Cepage has qualified for handicaps with a pair of fourth-placed efforts in maidens. Remains with potential from fair-looking opening mark, though perhaps will be of more interest when stepped up in trip.

Form: 335-44

Starvoski^p³⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Lorcan Murtagh| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 100| D

25/1

Sprang back to form when landing mares' handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter on final start last season but has had a poor season over fences this term and she's opposable on balance despite switch back to hurdling.

Form: PP1-436

Ambassador^v1²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Harry Atkins⁽³⁾| T: M Keighley| OR: 95| D

66/1

Fairly useful at best for Dan Skelton in 2021 but hasn't offered much on Flat/over hurdles for present yard following a lengthy absence.

Form: 286-P07

Telhimlisten^h⁶^{(ex 7)}

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Luca Morgan| T: J Candlish| OR: 79| D

1/2

Lightly-raced hurdler confirmed previous promise when easily winning 10-runner handicap hurdle at Southwell (15.8f, good to soft) 6 days ago, well suited by the return to positive tactics. The one to beat under a penalty.

Form: 8/6-2641

Half The Freedom^p³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: Jamie Brace| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 85| BF

8/1

Flat-bred gelding seemed well suited by quick conditions to get off the mark at Doncaster in January and wasn't disgraced from 5 lb higher mark when third there last month. Player on those efforts, though needs to prove his suitability for softer ground.

Form: 4-26513

Forecasts

Telhimlisten (1/2), Erigmoor (4/1), Half The Freedom (8/1), Hunter Legend (12/1), Starvoski (25/1), Ambassador (66/1)

TELHIMLISTEN ran out an easy winner at Southwell on Monday having been allowed to bowl along in front, and a 7 lb penalty shouldn't be enough to stop him repeating the dose here. Handicap-debutants Erigmoor and Hunter Legend may pose the biggest threats, with Stuart Edmunds' representative perhaps of more immediate interest.
