Improved model late last year, off the mark over C&D in November prior to following up at Ludlow (23.8f) later that month. Not in anything like the same form at Warwick (26f) on New Year's Eve but given a break ahead of this and bounce back distinctly possible.

Irish point winner who has shaped with definite promise and like a stayer both starts over hurdles, pushed along before 2 out and keeping on well when third at Leicester (20.5f) in December. Increase in trip a plus now handicapping and there's better to come.

Didn't achieve much in pair of bumpers (trained in Ireland initially) but displayed fair form over hurdles, justifying cramped odds when taking 3-runner Huntingdon maiden (25f) in November. Similar form when second in 3-runner Doncaster handicap the following month.

Different proposition tackling trips at around 2½m, bringing up the 5-timer at Huntingdon 15 days ago. Just kept up to work as he idled a little then and good chance he can be competitive again from 5 lb higher mark.

Stepped up plenty on reappearance effort when third at Chepstow (23.6f) in November but subsequent efforts not so inspiring, including when pulled up on yard debut at Taunton (19f) in January, jumping ponderously. Comes here with good deal to prove.

Took her form up a notch when second in 2m 6f maiden hurdle at Wetherby (21.2f) 12 months ago. Jumping let her down on return at Kelso but not really seen to best effect off a steady gallop when fifth in 6-runner Sandown handicap 5 weeks ago. Eased in grade now.

Off the track 15 months but given a chance by the assessor and highlighted versatility in finishing runner-up in trio of handicaps from 2m-3¼m in recent weeks, no match for winner latest but well clear of remainder. In with a shout off same mark.

Modest chase winner (at 3¼m) who was far from disgraced tackling inadequate trip when fourth here (19.2f) 37 days ago. This sort of test more suitable ahead of switch back to hurdling.

A competitive handicap with the narrow vote in favour of BLUE SHARK. He's proved a different proposition tackling trips at around 2½m, completing a handicap 5-timer at Huntingdon 15 days ago and a 5 lb higher mark may not be enough to prevent another bold showing now his stamina is tested further. Handicap-debutant Scamallach Liath rates a likely improver up in trip and is feared, along with the in-form Seymour Promise.
