Hurdles winner who has offered little over hurdles/fences following a lengthy absence for new yard this winter. Drops back in trip following a short break now.
Promise in bumpers/3 races over hurdles and career best when winning 10-runner handicap chase at Taunton (18.2f, good, 6/1) on debut over fences 2 weeks ago, crusing clear from 2 out. Sound claims from revised mark on that evidence.
Maiden hurdle winner who ran well when fourth over hurdles at Chepstow (19.5f) in January. Proved somewhat disappointing on chasing bow at Huntingdon (16.5f) since so bounce back called for here.
Confirmed he retains ability when seventh in 10-runner Exeter handicap chase (19.2f) on yard debut earlier this month (first start for 16 months). Feasible to think he can sharpen up for that here but couple of others appeal more on balance.
Expensive acquisition from points (dual winner) but clearly has had his share of issues and he folded out of things quite quickly on return/chase debut at Hereford (2m) 5 weeks ago. Others more solid.
Fair maiden over hurdles, again running creditably when third in 12-runner Fontwell handicap (17.7f) 2 weeks ago, every chance last and keeping on. No forlorn hope now sights are set on larger obstacles.
Kept busy and scored by a wide margin at Warwick in September. Somewhat hit-and-miss since but he arrives here on the back of a creditable display when second at Fontwell (19.5f) earlier this month. Entitled to be thereabouts from this mark.

Forecasts
Gabriel's Getaway (11/10), Natty Night (7/2), Hector Jaguen (4/1), Tamaris (5/1), Dindin (13/2), Madiba Passion (17/2), Blue Ribbon (50/1), Sir Valentine (80/1)
GABRIEL'S GETAWAY readily surpassed the form he showed over hurdles when cruising clear to score at the first attempt over fences at Taunton 2 weeks ago and he can defy his subsequent weight rise and follow up. Hector Jaguen, who shaped well himself on chasing bow at Plumpton last month, rates the lead threat, ahead of Dindin and Tamaris.
