Leicester Racecourse Ideal Conference Venue Handicap Chase

Dual winner at around 2½m last term, including here, and posted his best effort so far this season when sixth of 16 in a first-time visor (retained here) in a Grade 3 Cheltenham handicap on New Year's Day. Eased 2 lb and this is a less taxing assignment, so he needs considering.

Dual hurdles winner who also scored on his chase debut at Exeter (19.2f) last November. Has failed to add to that since though, and he's been below form the last twice.

Successful four times over fences in France and has notched up a couple of Uttoxeter handicap wins for his new yard last summer. Below form both subsequent starts, though.

Veteran who tasted success twice over fences at Market Rasen in 2020 and filled runners-up spot over hurdles/fences back at that venue both starts last year. Returned from an absence with a poor run at Aintree a couple of months ago.

Out of sorts for Gordon Elliott last summer and fared no better when beaten a long way on stable debut in handicap hurdle at Fakenham on New Year's Day. Makes little appeal back over fences.

7/2, improved to win 6-runner handicap chase at Chepstow (19.4f, soft) 24 days ago. Remains very well treated on old form, so worth chancing to follow up.

Got right back on track when landing a Fontwell handicap November but he needs to bounce from a poor run over 21.5f there since.

Not at her best at Haydock when last seen 22 months ago and subsequent absence is an obvious concern ahead of this chase debut. However, she looked good when winning a Warwick novice hurdle 3 starts back and it will be interesting to see what the market has to say on chasing debut.

Travelled well for a long way over hurdles on return here last month and showed the benefit of that run when scoring in good style back in this sphere at Lingfield (2½m, good to soft). Shaped as if still in form next time.
