Developed into a better chaser than hurdler last season and, after 9 months off, shaped well back over hurdles when fourth in handicap at Uttoxeter (23.3f) 53 days ago, short of room approaching 2 out. One to consider returned to chasing,

Much improved when the cheekpieces went on in 2021, completing a a hat-trick in handicap hurdles with a wide-margin success at Southwell (20.4f). After 18 months off, looked rusty when pulled up on chase debut at Taunton a month ago. Entitled to do better.

Improver in handicap hurdles, winning at Fontwell (25.7f) in November. Promising second on 19.5f chase debut there (19.5f) the following month and should be more to come over fences now back up in trip. Leading claims.

Back to best when second of 6 in handicap chase at Sedgefield (26.9f) on return in November. However, ran a moody race in first-time visor when pulled up at Kelso a fortnight ago, never going well from the first. Cheekpieces quickly reapplied.

Had a good spell over fences after wind surgery in the summer, going on to back-to-back wins at Stratford (22.6f) and Musselburgh (31.5f) in October/November. However, needs to bounce back from lesser efforts on last 2 starts (over hurdles on latest).

Won sole start in points and matched pick of hurdles form fitted with a tongue strap when third of 13 on chase bow at Wetherby on Boxing Day. Better than result last time having set a good gallop, so he's not taken lightly with the potential for more to come.

Irish point winner who left hurdling form behind when runner-up in a handicap at Bangor on chasing debut and went one better at Market Rasen (23.9f) on return. Down the field at Wetherby in December, but it remains early days over fences.

Didn't fire in four chase starts last season and tailed off 4 out back over hurdles at this course (24.3f) in November, never travelling well. Cheekpieces reapplied, but best watched on his return to chasing.

An improver in handicap hurdles this season, FORWARD PLAN shaped encouragingly on his chasing debut at Fontwell in December and the 7-y-o can continue his progress to get off the mark over fences at the second attempt. Get Prepared also showed promise on his chase bow last time and is feared most, ahead of Jaytee.
