Sky Bet EBF 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Twice-raced maiden. Fourth of 5 in novice hurdle (18/1) at Catterick (25.3f, heavy) 15 days ago. Down in trip.

Dual bumper winner who was well backed for hurdles debut at Kelso but was a remote fifth (found to have bled). Worryingly was again found to have bled when pulled up at Ayr since so can only be watched.

Well-bred point winner who went in again under a no-nonsense ride in a Warwick bumper in February. Best hurdles effort when runner-up to a subsequent winner at Hereford last month and very much in the reckoning with further progress likely back up in trip.

Runner-up completed start in points and has shaped better than the bare result both starts over hurdles, including when fifth of 15 in 21.2f maiden at Ludlow 21 days ago. Down in trip and remains with potential but this probably beyond him.

Half-brother to useful hurdler/chaser Scorpion Sid. Failed to meet market expectations when mid-field in a Warwick bumper but fared much better sent hurdling when runner-up at Ascot (19.3f). Clearly still novicey when fourth over C&D since and remains with potential.

Every chance when fell last sole point start. Faded into a remote sixth in a Warwick bumper on Rules debut 13 months ago, but the fact he went off as short as 9/4 suggests a lot better was expected.

£70,000 5-y-o, Frammassone gelding. Won second start in Irish points in April and displayed plenty of ability when runner-up on hurdles debut at Leicester, held back by mistakes. Confirmed that promise when third here (20.8f) 17 days ago and should be in the mix again.
