Glorious Angel⁵^{(ex 12)}

Age: 3| Weight: 10-7| J: Billy Loughnane⁽⁷⁾| T: Grant Tuer| OR: 76

85/40

Has progressed gradually since joining this yard, notching at Southwell earlier this month before following up with bit in hand back there a week later. Carries double penalty but has an in-form 7 lb claimer on board so she has to be respected in her hat-trick bid.

Form: 5834-11

Megan Moon^h²⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: J Mitchell| T: R Varian| OR: 71| BF

3/1

Proving frustrating, again unable to justify short-price favouritism when third of 6 in minor event at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 25 days ago (pulled hard and again awkwardly away). Clearly has plenty of ability and the hood goes back on for this handicap debut.

Form: 423-

Brownlee³⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: Tom Marquand| T: T D Barron| OR: 70| D

11/8

Career best when winning 10-runner nursery at Southwell (5f, 5/1) just over 5 weeks ago by 1¼ lengths from reopposing Sugar Hill Babe, making all. Is all about speed and looks sure to go well again with Tom Marquand booked to ride.

Form: 37931-

Sugar Hill Babe¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: Cam Hardie| T: L Williamson| OR: 68

10/1

Sent off 80/1 but right back on track when runner-up at Southwell last month but failed to confirm that form back there on New Year's Day. Others make more appeal reverting back to handicap company.

Form: 35352-2

Forecasts

Brownlee (11/8), Glorious Angel (85/40), Megan Moon (3/1), Sugar Hill Babe (10/1)

GLORIOUS ANGEL is still progressing gradually despite having had plenty of racing so Grant Tuer's filly gets the verdict to complete the hat-trick with the much-lauded Billy Loughnane taking a valuable 7 lb off her back. Brownlee showed improved form to get off the mark at Southwell just over 5 weeks ago so he can give the selection most to think about, ahead of handicap debutante Megan Moon.
