Bright start for new yard, successful at Southwell (6f) in December and, having not been seen to best effect next time, he duly resumed winning ways in good style over 7f at Lingfield 7 days ago. Should prove tough to beat under a penalty.

Belardo filly. Placed first 2 starts in novice/maidens last summer and small step forward to get off the mark in a Lingfield novice (7f) 11 days ago. More on her plate now handicapping but she remains low mileage.
C&D winner. Fifth of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW, 6/1) 16 days ago, weakening over 1f out having endured a wide trip. Handicapper is relinquishing his grip but she does need to step up on recent efforts to figure.
C&D winner. 11/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Chester (10.3f) in July, not seen to best effect having been shuffled back under 3f out. Fact she's gone well fresh is a plus, so interesting what the market makes of her back from 6 months off.
4-time C&D winner. Three wins from 17 runs last year. 7/1, eighth of 10 in handicap at this C&D 36 days ago, weakening final 1f. Eased further 2 lb since and he's no forlorn hope.
Veteran. C&D winner. 25/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 7 days ago, pushed along over 2f out and weakening. Others appeal more for win purposes.
Course winner. Three wins from 10 runs last year. Good second of 12 in C&D handicap 2 weeks ago, headed 1f out and plugging on. Clearly in good heart and not ruled out despite all 3 career victories coming over 6f.

POLITICS has proved resurgent upon joining Mick Appleby, having no issues with the step up to 7f as he resumed winning ways in fine style at Lingfield 7 days ago, and he can continue the good work under a penalty. The Nail Gunner and Chookie Dunedin head up the dangers, whilst Momaer may have a little more to offer given she remains low mileage.
