Fairly useful stayer on the level. Shaped better than end result would suggest on last month's hurdles bow at Plumpton but since finished well held back on the level.

Dam half-sister to useful 2m/2½m hurdle winner Tervel and fair hurdler (stayed 3¼m) Romaha. Modest maiden handicapper on Flat (probably stays 2m) for Micky Hammond but too inexperienced to make any impact starting out over timber. Tongue tie on.

€36,000 3-y-o, Jukebox Jury gelding. Brother to useful German/Polish 1¼m-1¾m winner Memphis and half-brother to 4 winners. Dam 1¼m/11f. Too green to show much in a bumper in November.

Timeform
French bumper winner who was given a considerate introduction to hurdling when third in 7-runner novice at Leicester (15.5f) last month. In top hands and is sure to progress. Engaged 1.00 Chepstow Tuesday.

310,000 gns purchase after winning a point in Ireland in the spring. No chance with a useful one but beat the rest readily enough starting out over C&D in November. Plenty more to come and very much the one to beat.

Out of a winning hurdler and displayed ability first 2 bumper starts 8 months apart. Backward step at Haydock but better expected now tackling obstacles.

Out of a mare who did well for the same connections and fair form in a couple of bumpers. Hurdles efforts 10 months apart not devoid of promise but handicaps are an option after this.

Timeform
Related to several winners and made successful start himself in 5-runner newcomers bumper at Huntingdon in January, readily. Shade keen even with a hood in better company since but he possesses the raw ability to be a big factor now hurdling.

Every chance when fell 2 out sole start in Irish points (Feb 27). Low-key start under Rules but much more like it when fourth at Haydock 3 weeks ago.

Prominent in the betting but looked one paced in a Wexford bumper for Colin Bowe in March 2021. Easy point winner since but has failed to last home both starts over hurdles, including in a first-time tongue strap last time. Down in trip and has a breathing operation. Engaged 1.00 Chepstow Thursday.

Forecasts

Ittack Blue (10/11), Imperial Bede (13/2), Roccstar Bay (15/2), Odin's Quest (10/1), Jack Sprat (10/1), Proper Twelve (12/1), Playtogetaway (14/1), Regarde (16/1), Scarpered (25/1), Byron Hill (33/1), Night Jet (33/1), Ito Ditto (50/1), Abbeyhill (50/1), Hey Mister Dj (50/1), Mangrove River (66/1), Heresmax (100/1), Vissani (100/1)

Verdict

Having changed hands for 310,000 gns following a point win, ITTACK BLUE showed plenty of ability when runner-up in a C&D novice in November. With the promise of more to come, he will take some stopping. Imperial Bede and Odin's Quest could be the main threats.
