Without a win for Paul Nolan in Ireland but has made an excellent start for his current yard, racking up a hat-trick with a cosy success at Kelso (25.8f) in November. Can go on to score again.
Hexham bumper winner in April 2021 who has run to a fair level at best over hurdles, runner-up in a novice at the same course (20.1f) in May. However, hasn't built on that effort since, down the field in handicap here (19.7f) on Boxing Day.
Modest form in bumpers and in his qualifying runs over hurdles. Well beaten after 9 months off at Ayr on handicap debut, but fared best of those ridden close up when fourth at Kelso (22.7f) last time. Shortlisted back down in grade.
Point winner who, after a wind op, showed more than previously over hurdles when fifth of 17 in novice at this course (2m) 18 days ago, despite being unsuited by drop in trip. Interesting upped in distance on handicap bow.
Has steadily been going the right way sent handicapping this season for his current yard, finding more again for the step up in trip when fifth of 19 at this C&D 18 days ago. Can give another good account.
Ran his best race so far when 18 lengths fourth of 7 in novice hurdle at Kelso (22.7f) 16 days ago. Makes handicap debut, but much more required to get involved.
Maiden Irish pointer who showed improved form when making all in novice handicap at Kelso (22.7f) in December. Also ran well when fourth of 19 at this C&D later in the month, rallying run-in. Respected.
Modest form at best over hurdles in Ireland for John McConnell and, after 5 months off, offered little in a pair of handicaps for his new yard in December. Cheekpieces back on.
Runner-up on first of 3 starts in points but has finished well held in his trio of qualfying runs over hurdles. Cheekpieces now applied as he goes handicapping. Tough ask from 7 lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
Heritier De Sivola (15/8), Piaff Bubbles (3/1), Hattons Gardens (9/2), Hoganville (11/2), Grand Du Nord (10/1), Nights In Venice (11/1), How Much (33/1), Is So Cute Dimaria (50/1), Buto (66/1)
HOGANVILLE has been thriving for his current yard, making it 3 wins from 3 starts since joining George Bewley with a cosy success at Kelso in November. He can go on to land the 4-timer, though Hattons Gardens is an interesting contender as he goes up in trip on his handicap debut. Nights In Venice could also go well back down in grade.
