Eighteen runs since last win in 2020. Good 2½ lengths fourth of 10 to After John in handicap (18/1) at this C&D 16 days ago. Blinkers back on but fact he's a long time without a win tempers enthusiasm.

Maiden who again ran respectably when sixth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 38 days ago, ridden when bumped 2f out and one paced. Form doesn't read at all badly in context of this race and she's worthy of consideration.

C&D winner. 14/1, first run since leaving Chris Dwyer when 8¾ lengths seventh of 10 to After John in handicap at this C&D 16 days ago. That was his first start for 3 months and he's now operating from last winning mark.

Much improved when landing back-to-back 6f AW events for John Butler in October/November. Changed hands for 8,000 gns thereafter and he's not scaled the same heights subsequently. This marked drop back down in grade a plus at least.

Dual 6f winner during 2021 who ran creditably on 2 of his last 3 starts last year, runner-up in a C&D handicap when last seen 6 weeks ago. No surprise to see him thereabouts again.

All weather winner (at 7f) whose exploits proved mixed on turf/AW for Marco Botti last summer. Changed hands for 6,000 gns/gelded subsequently and he's fallen to a career-low mark ahead of this return. Market may guide.
