Smart dual winner in bumpers who looks a good prospect for hurdles, not seen to best effect when odds on at Cheltenham first time up then opening account at Leicester despite jumping left at times. Will progress and bred to relish this longer trip.

Showed promise in a Stratford bumper and again shaped well 8 months on when sixth in novice hurdle at Exeter (16.7f, good to soft) 7 weeks ago, finishing with running left. This longer trip will suit.

Maiden pointer who exceeded market expectations when fifth on Newbury hurdle debut back in March. Breathing problem when pulled up at Fontwell 3 weeks later and had a wind operation subsequently. Also fitted with a tongue strap on return.

Runner-up on completed start in Irish points (Nov 2021). Cost a fair bit and showed plenty to work on in Chepstow bumper last month. Should do better now hurdling up in trip.

Won sole start in a point bumper and found only one too good in a pair of Rules bumpers in the spring. Showed more than first time up over hurdles at Exeter 4 weeks ago and should be of interest in handicaps after another run.

Winning pointer but hasn't offered a great deal in a couple of novice hurdles at around this trip. Likely to need more time.

Ran to quite a useful level in bumper on debut at Wincanton a year ago. Disappointed at Warwick next time and offered little sent hurdling when well held back at Wincanton (21.4f) on return after a second wind op. Still early days and could do better with tongue tie now applied.

Forecasts

Twinjets (1/3), Park This One (1/1), Haston Clermont (5/1), Twin Power (13/2), Aldsworth (12/1), Galway Mahler (28/1), Hilltown (40/1), Hilnamix (150/1)

Verdict

TWINJETS wasn't too straight when winning at Leicester but he remains a good hurdles prospect and could do a lot better as he gets to grips with his job. The longer trip here will suit him and he can come out on top again. Park This One is the clear danger if running here rather than at Catterick on Sunday. Twin Power quickly has a bit to prove but the tongue tie could help him. Haston Clermont is interesting on his hurdles debut.
