Verdict

If BLUEBIRD can reproduce the level she's shown when runner-up in C&D handicaps on her last 2 starts she stands a good chance of getting off the mark. Mehmo isn't one for maximum faith but he fared a bit better on his first run back with Mick Appleby and could be the one to give James Fanshawe's filly most to think about. Ireland's Eye could also play a prominent role if primed after 8 months off.
