Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Aaron Anderson| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 110

66/1

Flat winner at Pontefract in April. 1-6 over hurdles so far but was seemingly in a bit of a lull when last seen on the level and has a bit to prove for new yard.

Midnight Callisto^p,t³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Ben Godfrey⁽³⁾| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 109

10/3

Opened account over hurdles at Exeter in February and back on track when winning mares' handicap at Stratford in April. Creditable effort when third at Taunton (19f, good) on return 31 days ago, though typically held back by her jumping.

Form: 3151-33

City Derby^p,t²⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-11| J: Shane Quinlan| T: F O'Brien| OR: 109| CD

7/2

Won over C&D in April and produced his best effort of this season when second of 8 in selling hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f, good to soft, 10/3) 27 days ago. Back up in trip. Not taken lightly.

Form: 731-7P2

Norley^t⁶¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Beau Morgan⁽⁸⁾| T: B Pauling| OR: 107WS

3/1

Dual winner last term but wasn't quite at his best in the summer and folded tamely on chase debut last time (possibly amiss). Yard won this last year but appears to have a stronger candidate in Couldbeaweapon.

Form: 115-472

Couldbeaweapon²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: Luca Morgan⁽³⁾| T: B Pauling| OR: 105| BF

13/8

Produced a career best when winning at Worcester in October and ran at least as well in defeat when third of 10 in handicap hurdle (5/2) at Uttoxeter (19.9f, good to soft) 29 days ago. Player for last year's winning yard.

Forecasts

Couldbeaweapon (13/8), Norley (3/1), Midnight Callisto (10/3), City Derby (7/2), Wavering Down (7/2), Mr Dealer (20/1), Belvedere Blast (20/1), Magna Moralia (66/1)

WAVERING DOWN has returned an improved model this season, backing up his Newton Abbot win with a good show at Fontwell. He's fancied to get the better of City Derby and Couldbeaweapon.
