Won 5 of his first 6 starts over fences, including the Old Roan Chase at Aintree last October, but disappointed in this race last year and jumped with little conviction under change of tactics in the Melling Chase on last chase outing. Bit to prove now.

High-class chaser proved he wasn't reliant on softer ground when scoring in this race last year. Stiff task behind Shishkin and Energumene in Clarence House Chase last time and should put up a bold bid to defend his crown on return.
Smart chaser won Grade 2 Silviniaco Conti Chase at Kempton in January but is showing his form increasing rarely nowadays, folding tamely before pulling up at Cheltenham. Won this in 2020 but others preferred.
Grade 2 winning novice chaser last season but made a chance-ending error at a crucial stage on his return in the Old Roan and it was similar story when fifth in a 13-runner handicap at Ascot 16 days ago. More required in this company.
Better than ever when winning the Grade 1 Manifesto novices' chase at Aintree in April and confirmed himself a very smart chaser when a creditable ½-length second of 7 to Beauport in intermediate chase at Carlisle (20f, soft) 35 days ago. Respected.
Dual Grade 2-winning novice last term and won as he was entitled to in 4-runner minor event chase at Newton Abbot (21f, good to soft, 4/5) 50 days ago. Strong travelling front-runner is high on the shortlist.
Won C&D listed mares' event in January before finishing a fine second in the Liberthine Mares' Chase at Cheltenham. Likeable type but will need to take her form up another level to mix with the boys in this company.

Forecasts
Millers Bank (85/40), Pic D'Orhy (9/4), First Flow (9/2), Mister Fisher (10/1), Pink Legend (10/1), Allmankind (11/1), Do Your Job (25/1)
This looks PIC D'ORHY's toughest assignment over fences to date but Paul Nicholls' gelding's efforts in novice events last term suggest he should be up to making his mark in this company and he is narrowly fancied to get the better of First Flow, who won this on his reapperance last term. Millers Bank appeals as best of the rest in a competitive Grade 2.
