High-class chaser at his best but he signed off last term with a poor run in Cheltenham Gold Cup. C&D winner but he has something to prove on his return after a wind op.

Very smart Irish chaser who landed the Grand National here in April. Got back on track with easy success in 4-runner listed chase at Wexford (23f) 33 days ago. Can't be discounted.
|
Signed off last term with a career-best win over C&D. Returned with a good third to Bravemansgame in Charlie Hall at Wetherby so he's in the mix.
|
Enjoyed a fine first season over fences, emphatically landing Grade 1 Mildmay Novices' Chase over C&D on his final run. Came in last of five in Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on his return but he remains with plenty of potential and is well worth another chance.
|
Tough and likeable chaser who resumed with a 2m4f win over hurdles here four weeks ago. Steps up in trip now and he shouldn't be underestimated.
|
Hasn't looked back since sent over fences, making it 4 wins from his last 5 runs in 3m2f handicap at Kelso on his return. Takes a step up in grade but this strong-travelling type is well in the mix.

Forecasts
Ahoy Senor (2/1), Noble Yeats (3/1), Chantry House (5/1), Sounds Russian (13/2), Dashel Drasher (15/2), Sam Brown (9/1)
AHOY SENOR proved a big disappointment in the Charlie Hall but Lucinda Russell's most imposing 7-y-o is well worth another chance to confirm himself one of the top staying chasers around by bouncing back to winning ways here. Ruth Jefferson's upwardly-mobile Sounds Russian takes a step up in grade but is still feared most ahead of Grand National hero Noble Yeats and the likeable Dashel Drasher in a fascinating contest.

- Sounds Russian13/2
- Noble Yeats3/1
