Latest win in chase at Fairyhouse in April. 8/1, good second of 11 in handicap chase at Listowel (22f, good) 63 days ago, clear of rest. First run for yard after leaving Ms Margaret Mullins.

Improved over hurdles for Jack Barber last term, scoring twice, and while his last effort was disappointing, he could up his game again now switched to chasing on seasonal/stable debut.
Fairly useful hurdler who doubled his tally in ready fashion in a novice at Hereford 20 months ago. Not seen since but has enough size to make a chaser.
Useful hurdler who opened his account over fences on the back of a wind op in 2m course handicap a year ago. Didn't really build on that and has been below form over hurdles in France on last 2 outings.
Enjoyed a productive campaign lsat season, making it four wins when landing a 3-runner event at Chepstow when last seen. Another career-best is required after 7 months off, but can't be ruled out.
Lost his way last season but first outing for new yard (second at Stratford) was a big step back in the right direction. Very clumsy jumper but he's potentially thrown in if he can avoid errors.
Winner of a bumper/novice hurdle in 2019. Resumed winning ways in similar 3-runner handicap chase at this course in December but disappointed at Exeter next time. Bit to prove after 8 months off.
Stepped up on hurdles form when making a winning chase debut at Fontwell (3¼m) in December 2020 and generally creditable efforts since. Missed last season and has left Warren Greatrex, though.
Returned to form over hurdles when second at Chepstow in January. Well held on chase debut in C&D novice handicap next time but much better when runner-up back at Chepstow 9 months ago. Could do better.

Forecasts
Blackjack Magic (2/1), Eden Du Houx (3/1), Moonlighter (7/2), Mucho Mas (9/2), Marco Island (13/2), Caswell Bay (10/1), Real Stone (11/1), New Age Dawning (18/1), File Illico (18/1), Song Of Earth (22/1), Talktomenow (100/1)
MOONLIGHTER is a risky proposition in that he's a sketchy jumper but he is handicapped to win and arrives on the back of a positive start for Kim Bailey, so he's worth taking a chance on in an open race. Marco Island is one of two interesting chasing debutants for Anthony Honeyball and File Illico deserves respect.
