Yet to win but was in the process of running well when departing in Wincanton handicap in March. Promising return to action over C&D 3 weeks ago and he can remain competitive.

Long Call²⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 11-3| J: J E Moore| T: A W Carroll| OR: 91| CD

Ended long losing run over hurdles at Bangor in July. Yet to match that level over fences, not achieving a great deal when runner-up at Ludlow 3 weeks ago.

Very hard to win with and looked to completely lose his form for J.P.Dempsey in the spring. Fared no better both outings for this yard.

Form: 3PP0-7P

Professor Calculus^t1¹⁰⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Tom Buckley⁽³⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 91

Maiden on the level and over hurdles. Gets age allowance now chasing and sharp 2m is what he needs.

Form: 3576-58

Master Mikey Dee¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Brendan Powell| T: Mrs R Ford| OR: 76| D

15/2

Little impact over hurdles though sprang a surprise from just out of the handicap on his chasing bow at Taunton (2m, soft) in March. Unable to continue the good work both starts since 7 months apart.

Form: 00713-6

School For Scandal¹⁶²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: David Noonan| T: J Tickle| OR: 69

9/1

Point runner-up and having been allotted a lowly mark, he's shaped with some promise over fences in May/June. Out of the weights again but he's not out of this.

Forecasts

Greenrock Abbey (2/1), Eros (5/2), Starvoski (7/2), Legendary Rhythm (5/1), Long Call (6/1), Master Mikey Dee (15/2), Professor Calculus (8/1), School For Scandal (9/1), God Knows Why (10/1), Fou Diligence (33/1)

EROS has yet to win a race but his return to action over C&D was promising and a repeat of that may well see him get off the mark. Starvoski showed more than previously over fences at Ffos Las and is a threat, with School For Scandal another to consider, even from out of the weights.
