Winning hurdler who was placed several times over fences off higher marks last term. However, hard to draw any positives from his Cheltenham reappearance effort and chance largely depends on whether the new headgear (sports first-time blinkers in place of the usual visor) has the desired effect.
Multiple hurdles winner who posted his best effort over fences to date when third in a 7-runner Doncaster handicap in January. Wasn't disgraced returned to this sphere back from 6 months off at Chepstow (26.2f, good) recently and possibilites off 3 lb lower here granted a clean round of jumping.
Enjoyed a productive campaign last season, winning 3 handicap chases at up to 26.9f. Stepped up on low-key hurdles reappearances back in this with cheekpieces refitted at Cheltenham (25f, good to soft) and not without each-way claims.
Opened chase account over 21.3f here in February 2021 but resumes from a 10-month absence with a fair bit to prove given the inauspiciousness of his 3 appearances last season.
Made second chase start a winning one in impressive fashion at Sedgefield last month. Penalty wasn't enough to prevent him following up at Ayr (3m, good to soft) 8 days later and this 5-y-o is likely to make a bold bid to complete the hat-trick.
Three of his 5 victories in this sphere have been gained here, including over C&D (soft) when last seen in March. 8 lb rise does not look insurmountable but record when fresh isn't great and, moreover, his hit-and-miss profile tempers enthusiasm.
Bolted up on debut for this yard in a Hexham handicap chase last November. Runner-up on both subsequent completed starts but there is certainly room for improvement in the jumping department.

Big Changes (11/10), The Macon Lugnatic (3/1), Bretney (9/2), Best Trition (5/1), Kaphumor (6/1), Huntsmans Jog (15/2), Light Flicker (11/1), Grange Ranger (28/1), Sigurd (40/1)
There should be more to come from BIG CHANGES, who looked an improved model when scoring twice within the space of 8 days last month and he is taken to complete the hat-trick. Chase-debutant Best Triton, The Macon Lugnatic and Light Flicker (in that order of preference) all make each-way appeal.
