MINELLA PLUS completed a hurdles hat-trick in the first half of last season and is taken to repeat that feat in this sphere following victories at Hexham and Ludlow. The 5-y-o gets the nod ahead of another promising novice in Zacony Rebel, who did the job well starting out over fences at Fontwell and should have more to offer. Moriko de Vassy will need to improve on what he showed over hurdles in order to make a successful chase debut but he is respected all the same.
