Off the mark in Irish points back in the spring and shaped like a stayer when runner-up in a Sedgefield bumper (16.8f, good to soft) just over 6 weeks ago. Could have a say on hurdling debut.

Ran to a fair level first time out when fifth of 25 in maiden hurdle at Navan (15.8f) in February and ridden with an eye on the future on first start for this yard when sixth at Kelso last month. Definitely worth another chance to improve on his promising debut effort.

Dylan Thomas gelding who seemingly achieved a bit more than on his debut when eighth in a Wetherby bumper 7 months ago. Hurdles debut today and market should provide a useful guide.

Clearly a bit better than 2 non-completions in points may have suggested, third of 6 in a Sedgefield bumper back in May. Wouldn't have to be anything special to have a say on hurdling debut 6 months on.

Irish point winner who opened her account at the second attempt under Rules in a Southwell bumper in April. Didn't need to improve when following up 7 weeks later at Ludlow so she's fancied to be in the mix on hurdling debut.

Well held in bumpers but hinted at ability over hurdles in the spring. Given a considerate reappearance on handicap debut at Worcester (16f, good to soft, 33/1) 5 weeks ago (jumped ponderously) so best watched on that evidence.

Forecasts

Kilbarry Leader (8/11), Hashtag Lord (3/1), Big Gangsta (5/1), Attention All (18/1), Monaghan Boy (25/1), Lady's Present (28/1), This Is Bob (33/1), The Skiffle King (80/1)

Verdict

Cases can be made for a few of these but the most persuasive one is for HASHTAG LORD. James Ewart's charge was seemingly ridden with an eye on the future returning at Kelso last month and he's worth another chance to build on his promising debut effort in Ireland earlier in the year. Second choice is Kilbarry Leader, who took her record to 2-3 in bumpers back in May, with Big Gangsta rounding off the shortlist.
