Thorough stayer who needed every yard to score at Catterick (25.3f, good to soft) in January. Runner-up at Ayr in May but below form both starts since, pulled up after 5 months off at Kelso 13 days ago.
Shaped like a stayer in bumpers and in his qualifying runs over hurdles. After 9 months off, duly made a winning handicap debut upped in trip at Carlisle (20f, heavy) 15 days ago. Can follow up with further progress to come.
Poor form in bumpers/over hurdles in Ireland and has failed to complete over fences on his last 3 starts, unseating at Sedgefield last month on first outing since leaving Patrick G. Kelly following 33 months off.
Three-time C&D winner, including this race in 2020, and again ran creditably here when third in handicap chase in May. Unseated back at this course the following month, but respected as he makes his return over hurdles.
Fit from the Flat, made more impact than previously over hurdles when third on handicap debut at Carlisle (20f, heavy) 15 days ago, despite jumping sketchily. Can do better.
Showed improved form when third in handicap at Bangor in July and, after a blip at Fontwell, got back on track when runner-up at Ffos Las (23.9f, good to firm) last month. Can give another good account.
Reached the frame a few times in the spring but ran poorly after 6 months off when pulled up in handicap at Ayr (24.3f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Others preferred.
Capable on a going day but offered little after 7 months off when down the field in a C&D handicap in September. Remains above the mark off which he gained his latest success at Catterick in January 2021.
On her second start in a handicap, ran her best race to date when runner-up at Carlisle (19.3f, good) in April last year, despite making jumping errors. However, has been off the track for 19 months since then.
Third in this contest last year before going chasing later in the campaign, finishing in the frame on both of his starts over fences in the spring, Capable of getting involved back at this C&D on his reappearance.
Off the mark on second handicap start at this C&D in March and ran to a similar level both subsequent outings, fifth of 11 at Huntingdon (25f, good) when last seen in May.
Produced best effort so far when third in 3m Wetherby handicap (soft) at the end of March. However, failed to go on from that in her 2 starts in May, well-beaten sixth of 9 at Cartmel on the latter occasion.
Has yet to better poor form over hurdles, so looks to be up against it once again on return from 6 months off.

Forecasts
Fenland Tiger (6/4), Espoir Moriviere (10/3), Robbie Dazzler (4/1), Monticello (10/1), Songbird's Tale (16/1), Cudgel (16/1), Oliver's Island (22/1), Howzat Hiris (28/1), Ex S'elance (40/1), Jessiemac (40/1), Yorgunnabeamunky (40/1), Orlas' Abbey (50/1), Singirishmansing (200/1)
Upped in trip, FENLAND TIGER showed improved form when making a successful handicap debut at Carlisle on his return and he can follow up with further progress to come over this longer distance. Monticello also made more of an impact on his handicap bow last time and could be the biggest threat, while Robbie Dazzler can give another good account.
