Fair winner on the Flat (stays 1½m) who has matched that form over hurdles. Fourth in a Market Rasen handicap at the start of July but disappointing both starts subsequently, including in a first-time visor on yard debut last time. Down in grade but enough to prove at present.
C&D winner who returned to form from an unpromising position when runner-up at Hexham in May. Caught further back than ideal there the following month and has since added to his tally on the Flat. Has to be taken seriously.
Landed 2m1f handicap hurdle at Cartmel in July and quickly put a poor run behind him when third in 7-runner event at Stratford (16.3f) 19 days ago, sticking to task. Likely to be on the premises again.
Showed a bit of ability in maiden hurdles for previous connections in Ireland and shaped better than the distance beaten suggests starting out for Mark Walford at Market Rasen in August. However, has been pulled both starts since.
Dual 2m winner at Market Rasen. Has yet to reproduce that form at another track but wasn't seen to best effect after 10 weeks off when fourth over C&D last month and needs considering.
Poor on Flat and just modest form at best over hurdles. Others preferred from a stiff-opening mark.
Improved further to complete a hat-trick in 8-runner handicap hurdle (10/3) at Market Rasen (18.6f, good) 40 days ago, asserting final 100 yds. 6 lb rise demands more but can give another good account.
Showed only poor form completed starts over hurdles in late 2020 but Flat form provides hope for better now handicapping.
Poor maiden who went agonisingly close to finally opening his hurdling account in 14-runner C&D handicap 37 days ago, headed final 100 yds. Nudged up 2 lb but obvious player if turning up in similar form.
Poor maiden on Flat/over jumps who continues to fall in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage. Others more persuasive.
Took a small step back in the right direction following a breathing operation/9 months off when 2 lengths third of 5 to Misty Mani in handicap hurdle at Perth (16.2f, good) in July. That form has worked out better than expected, so not dismissed off same mark.

Forecasts
Silkstone (10/3), Lord Caprio (10/3), Zamond (6/1), Temper Trap (13/2), Misty Mani (7/1), Lady Babs (15/2), Burnage Boy (12/1), Astroman (22/1), Tuff McCool (22/1), Dromolought Lad (40/1), Cornell (50/1)
LORD CAPRIO posted a couple of solid efforts at Hexham back in the spring, despite not being seen to best effect, and has since added to his tally on the Flat, so he's an appealing candidate. Zamond is likely to be on the premises again, with Silkstone another to consider following a good second over C&D in late September.
