French import who finally got his head in front on these shores when scoring by a wide margin over C&D in September. Again performed well here when runner-up 9 days later and, though below par both subsequent starts, the return to this course could be the catalyst for a return to form.

None of these can be ruled out with any degree of confidence. The mare HAWTHORN COTTAGE struggled after winning at Kempton last November but she resumes on an attractive mark and the refitting of cheekpieces (all 5 wins under Rules have been gained when sporting cheekpieces) could have a positive effect. Dindin appears to go well round here and merits respect, along with Fairway Freddy, but if Thelasthighking takes to fences at the first attempt he may well emerge as the main danger.
