Forecasts

Aztec Empire (1/2), Iftikhaar (11/4), Quantum Leap (11/1), Espada (11/1), Shadowfax (11/1), Mystic Rock (66/1), Real Quiz (80/1), Step To The Top (125/1), Coriano Ridge (200/1), Half Nelson (250/1), Easter Sundae (250/1)

Verdict

AZTEC EMPIRE finished fourth in what turned out to be a pretty warm maiden at Sandown on debut last summer, and while he must have had a setback since, he's with a top yard. With that in mind, he can make a successful return to the track, perhaps at the chief expense of Shadowfax, though Espada, a stablemate of the selection, is an interesting newcomer.
