Promising son of Fame and Glory who got off the mark aft the first time of asking in 6-runner novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (19.9f) in March. Looks to have a fair bit more to offer. Player.
Placed both starts in Irish points and also came in runner-up on his hurdling bow at Ffos Las (20f) last November. Off 11 months but still can't be ruled out.
Fair form in bumpers last season, third at Sedgefield in March. Much respected now going hurdling.
Runner-up on both starts in Irish points before making a winning bumper debut at Newton Abbot in March. Looks a good prospect for hurdling so interesting on his return after breathing surgery.
Fair handicapper nowadays on Flat who hinted at promise on his debut in this sphere when fifth of ten in 2m4f Worcester novice last month. Should build on that.
Uninspiring point record but placed on 2 of his 4 starts in Irish maiden hurdles at up to 21f for Peter Fahey. Tongue strap on for his new yard and not discounted.
Well-related son of Soldier Of Fortune who showed fair form when fourth in bumpers at Newbury and Worcester last season. One to consider now going hurdling.
£10,000 5-y-o, £20,000 6-y-o, Fame And Glory gelding. Half-brother to useful hurdler/smart chaser Zanza. Newcomer needs considering, especially if the market vibes are positive.
Fame And Glory gelding who confirmed debut promise when landing bumper at Doncaster in March. Up in trip for his hurdles debut and one for the shortlist.
Placed on completed start in Irish points and shaped encouragingly when staying-on fourth of 10 in 2m novice hurdle at Chepstow 16 days ago. The return to further should suit so he's no forlorn hope.
Fair Flat winner for Andrew Balding who bagged 2m handicaps at Kempton and Ffos Las this summer. Changed hands after for 42 000gns and he's worth considering on his first go in this sphere.
No Risk At All gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners, including bumper winner/useful hurdler Dorrells Pierji. Dam French bumper winner. Pulled up sole start in points in March so more needed now going hurdling.
£60,000 4-y-o, Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful 17f hurdle winner Induno. Dam useful 2m-3m hurdle winner. Trainer’s newcomers command respect so he's another who can have a say.
Vendangeur gelding. Half-brother to useful chaser Nomoreblackjack. Dam, unraced, from family of top-class staying chaser First Lieutenant. Every chance when fell 2 out sole start in Irish points and he hinted at promise on hurdling bow at Chepstow 16 days ago despite beating only one. Possibilities.

Hymac (6/4), New Found Fame (10/3), Spring Meadow (7/2), Rouge De L'quest (10/1), Puddlesinthepark (12/1), Gyenyame (20/1), The Scorpion King (20/1), Airtothethrone (22/1), Militaire (28/1), Ipsos Pierji (33/1), Duke Of Deception (40/1), Lookondebrightside (40/1), Indianapolis (50/1), Dan Daly (66/1), Tonto Foley (150/1)
A fair bit of potential on show for this maiden hurdle and preference is for Harry Fry's HYMAC who looked a good hurdling prospect when making a winning bumper debut at Newton Abbot and can make the most of the 7 lb he receives from Uttoxeter-scorer New Found Fame. Newcomers Spring Meadow, Gyenyame and Rouge de L'Quest all warrant plenty of respect too, especially if the market speaks in their favour.
