Fairly useful hurdler but has yet convince with his jumping over fences. Would have finished second but for a late unseat at Sedgefield last time but he comes with risks attached.

Fairly useful at up to 9f on the Flat in the US and made it third time lucky over hurdles at Stratford (2m) in March. Similar form when second in 2m novice at Huntingdon the following month. Makes handicap/chase debut on his return to action.
Point winner who made a successful start over hurdles on this card last year and showed better form in defeat later in the season. 11/10, fell fifth on Perth chase debut/reappearance but remains the type to do better over fences.
C&D winner but absent since finishing a close second over C&D in May 2021. Has had wind surgery. Betting perhaps the best guide to expectations.
Fair handicap chaser in Ireland for Henry de Bromhead but well held all 4 starts this season, including for new yard latest. Something to prove for now.
Won a course novice hurdle on Rules debut in April 2021. Failed to build on that in 2 outings last autumn but returns as an unexposed sort. Interesting to see what the betting makes of him now switching to fences.
Hexham specialist who was performing no more than respectably when last seen in the spring. Stable has yet to really get going and got to be a chance he'll need the run.
Made a successful chase debut at Market Rasen in February. Going well when falling 3 out at Newcastle next time and further progress when runner-up on final 2 starts. Speedy enough to cope with the return to a shorter trip and could have more offer this season.

Forecasts
Corrigeen Rock (5/2), Edmond Dantes (5/2), Gladiatorial (5/1), Hello Judge (5/1), Point Him Out (17/2), Lake Takapuna (18/1), Treshnish (25/1), Ingleby Mackenzie (40/1)
A chance is taken on the fitness of EDMOND DANTES as he's a young chaser who should have more to offer this season. Corrigeen Rock hit the deck on his chase debut last month but there was a lot of strength behind him in the market and he remains a useful chase prospect so he's feared most. Gladiatorial could also play a part if keeping the errors down.
